Devin and Sarah’s Pittsburgh-Themed Engagement Shoot
Devin and Sarah recently made the decision to exchange their vows next year in Cancún, Mexico! Before they do this, they had to pay homage to their favorite city and hometown, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
When Devin and Sarah asked us to join them to photograph their destination wedding next October, we were nothing short of honored. They are a super fun-loving couple with a passion for Pittsburgh sports and their two fur babies, who joined us on the shoot. They were the best boys, easily distracted by treats held above my camera.
That BLING!
Sarah had a specific vision in mind of what she wanted her engagement session to be. She wanted to incorporate the things that they both love most, the Pittsburgh Steelers and their dogs. There is no better place for this, than the North Shore of Pittsburgh. This is home to both Heinz Field and PNC Park.
All of us walked the Roberto Clemente Bridge, to Heinz Field. The area was quiet and empty, and the time that had passed during our walk, made for the most perfect lighting when we arrived.
Yeah, you could say we have fun on our shoots.
Dad asked…mom said Yes!!
Although getting photos near Heinz Field was considered crucial, we decided to include PNC Park into some of our photos on our way back.
The Roberto Clemente Bridge provided the perfect pop of color against Devin and Sarah’s bright outfits.
“Love locks” can be found adorned all along the Roberto Clemente Bridge. These are not only left from local couples, but from lovebirds all over the world. It is a unique way for couples to memorialize their love.
We had such a fun evening meeting Devin and Sarah’s family and also meeting strangers, who congratulated the couple on their engagement. We will see you both in Mexico, let’s party!
