Sarah and Devin’s Destination Wedding in Cancún, Mexico
I first met Sarah and Devin in the winter of 2019 when they were in the midst of planning their Pittsburgh-themed wedding. They had been together for a few years and were anxious to get the ball rolling on their big day. Sarah and I clicked immediately and I was excited to photograph their engagement session.
Soon, their original plans changed and they decided to tie the knot via a low-key ceremony at the Now Jade Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo Mexico.
When the opportunity came for us to photograph their new and improved wedding, we jumped at the chance!
The couple snagged the coveted date of 10-10-2020. With both COVID-19 and an incoming hurricane touching down in Cancun, we were all waiting for some good news. Thankfully, the storm passed just in time and the couple was able to celebrate their love with all their closest family and friends.
Sarah and Devin got ready in the Now Jade resort’s suites. They held the resort pagoda overlooking the beach. The weather was in the high 80’s and there was not a cloud in sight.

The couple held their tropical reception right on the resort’s private beach. The Pittsburgh reference’s (including terrible towels) were a MUST.
We finished off the reception with a quick swim in the ocean.
No cameras were harmed in the making of this photo.
